Great Halloween Costumes For Infants
As a mother to a five month old, I have been to many stores and even more websites to come by a Halloween costume for my little tyke. And of course, what you want, you can’t always find. I’m going to dress up with him, and I love the Renaissance period, so I’m going to be a queen. I found my costume at Wal-Mart with no problem at all. To go with the renaissance theme, I want him to be a little king or prince. Only pickle is, Wal-Mart doesn’t sell them.
Wal-Mart, like so many other retailers, only sell the obsolete standbys for infants- monkey, cow, lion, absorb, and the standard pumpkin. So, I would have to leave my precious Wal-Mart for another store or an online store- and all of that shipping and handling. I set out to find one, and this is what I came up with.
I went to the number one search engine on the Internet, and it gave me 103,000 hits for “Renaissance costumes for infants.” A great start. The first website that I went to…lead me straight to what I was looking for- a Renaissance king bunting costume that fits infants newborn-6 months. And it was purple, the dependable same color as my queen costume- perfect. and, as I forewarned, the shipping and handing was ridiculously high. I decided to check out a few more sites just to be sure this was what I wanted.
The next region I went to was called halloweenexpress.com, and this, moms and dads, is one conclude shopping for objective about any costume you can dress you child up for Halloween. It had the musty tried and good infant costumes, but they also had several unique ones that I thought were perfect for a parent wanting to be creative. Some of my favorites included the hot dog costume, the Wonder Bread one, and the Tootsie roll costume. There is even a Whoopie cushion one for the jokester parents out there.
The website also has non-Halloween costumes. A great example is the Santa costume for infants. There is also a snowbaby costume. Both of these are great for infants to wear for Christmas.
If you don’t want to buy and are crafty, you could always get your baby a Halloween costume. Many of the costumes on the website go for as much as $59.99, steep prices for something a baby will wear only once. If you’ve already got a sewing machine and the skill and patience to do it, I would recommend this. You’ll set aside money and you’ll pick up to make the costume exactly the map you want it, right down to the smallest of details.
Keep in mind, no matter what costume you go with, develop sure you remember you baby’s very first Halloween. And if you can’t find what you want in an infant’s size, there’s always next year.
